back home again

Pads got home at about midday which was later than we had hoped. There was some difficulty using the new line for taking blood - they think it's the needle (that they like to leave in for a few days) rather than the port itself. It was a bigger operation than the lumbar puncture so perhaps it was unreasonable to expect him to recover as quickly. He is uncomfortable with that thing in his side but will have to get used to it - none of this (the medical bit) is particularly appealing. Comforted though at being reminded (by Choice Gleanings) that we have one who 'ever lives to intercede for us' prayers like, for example, Luke 22:32 'But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not'
