Yesterday we took delivery of the eeePC that we bought using the money from the kind staff at Velindre. He was very excited which was lovely to see. I 'made up the difference' so that the others, and he, would know that they had a stake in it too and he has been warned not to lord it over them, but basically it's his. Ash said, 'This is so small we could take it on holiday!'Here he is fitting the battery. Now I just have to introduce him to the delights of Firefox extensions, delicious and powersaving, not to mention divx video :-)
Today he's off school early to UHW for the pre-op check-up before the lumbar puncture tomorrow.
