A full day at school

Pads was able to stay the whole day at school for the first time since last academic year. He had to sit out PE in Asher's class. I had sent him to school with chunky sarnies and a load of apricots in case he got hungry. He ate the lot! He has been pretty chirpy too, in spite of having at least one lad unable to avoid staring at his scar.
The next thing will be on the 23rd when we will consent to his treatment and the final plans will be laid. In the mean time we're looking forward to a visit from his grandparents and Uncle Will/Auntie Vic on Saturday.
Thanks to the help from Ruth and Neil we've made marvellous progress with gutting the study. We can still use as a study, but also as a 'bolt hole' for when Pads cant cope with sleeping with his brothers. We've eyed tidying up this, our most shabby room, for ages and now we have the perfect excuse.
Determined to get Ally to go to sleep earlier than the last few nights so am signing off now. There may not be much 'Pads' activity on this blog for a while, but I should just add that I've used the very generous gift from the staff at Velindre to buy him an EeePC (Asus laptops take some beating!) which will be more flexible than a games console and not much less portable so that's fantastic.

Hi Mike

Excellent choice on eeepc - tell Pads I'm jealous.

Hi

I've just dropped by and read back from the beginning of Pads' troubles. May God bless you all - we will remember you in prayer.

Hi Malcolm - I'll be sure to tell him :-) (it's going to knock spots off mine too!)
