'chance' consultation

No school today again - he's still suffering stomach pains occasionally - ate a little pile of chilli tonight but creased up a few hours later. Pads consultant was walking past the house as Ally was leaving to go on a dog walk so they had a consultation in the street! Upshot of which is that he thinks it's gastritis caused by radiotherapy to the spine. Pads has tablets which may ease this or else we'll just have to last out until next week when his second phase starts, i.e. they stop irradiating his spine and focus on the head. The senior radiologist attended the review clinic as the consultant wasnt able to be there but since we'd already seen him in the street... there wasnt anything much new to be said.
Moli was off too with a severe cold, much to her disappointment. She got up extra early to complete homework and went all the way to school only to admit defeat at the last hurdle. It's a sign of how much she wants to be there.
A troop of folk came out tonight to put the church together for Pat Collings funeral tomorrow.
