Fluconazole
Pads has been prescribed fluconazole because his sore throat is being caused by an opportunistic fungal infection (thrush). He had an hour's tuition in the hospital but he just might get a bit more than that tomorrow, at school, since the meds is very effective and fast acting. He's been a fair bit brighter in the afternoon but radiotherapy always leaves him looking quite ashen and worn out - he was in bed by 7.30
