The boys celebrate Moli's birthday with an inset day while Moli has to go to school! Bacon butty, brioche and thorntons are some compensation - as were the pile of pressies. Intrigue was caused at the opening of the 'Magic 8-ball' the boys have been thinking about since Scott (from Michigan) stayed with us in the summer (some readers will greatly appreciate what I'm saying ;-). She was especially excited at the Alex Rider book that Pads bought for her two weeks ago. Here is a picture of her jumping around the kitchen :-)
Pads' tummy is still out of sorts this morning - he's busy now creating a monster for the Dr Who competition: first prize is for his whole class visiting the studios where they film it.

to Auntie Ruth and everyone, Thanks! I wore my jumper to school today as it was a non-uniform day just for me! I had a very nice cake and lots of lovely presents and everyone was very kind.
