Still giddy

This is a bit of a mystery to the radiographers so it looks like we're going to involve the consultant tomorrow. In the morning he's got his eye checkup (after the double vision which thankfully has calmed down quite a bit), then he's going for chemo which shouldn't have much in the way of side effects apart from perhaps bunging him up a bit.
He's on the nice fold-down bed in the refurbished study (big thanks to all those who helped with this - it's looking very nice) for the first time tonight so that will make it easier to get at us than last night if he needs us.
The kids are charged with learning Psalm 90 which has some obscure verses. Verse 15 says,
Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.
Spurgeon says, 'If we have fierce afflictions we may look for overflowing delights, and our faith may boldly ask for them'
