that funny feeling

So Pads has lost 4 kilos since having the port put in the other week. That may not be much to you, but, to a stringy, wasting Pads it's quite a bit. He's been on a drip so fluids and drugs are going in through the port without any messing about. His stomach pain is unabated though and this is awkward. The drugs he's been having for 'gastritis' ought to have dealt with that by now so we're getting a bit suspicious. The medical staff we've dealt with so far are sounding confident that it's constipation in spite of the fact that he was having the pain when movicol was 'moving-his-colon' on just fine in the earlier part of this week. Pads couldnt bear one of the Drs to palpate his bowel because of the pain last night. We're getting that funny feeling we had when Dr after Dr filtered out our knowledge of his history leading up to the eventual diagnosis of the tumour. Ally's waiting now to take his case to the consultant. Meanwhile Pads continues glued and writhing to CBBC Saturday morning offering (I dont think the writhing is due to the content of the shows on offer), tugging tufts of hair to the floor. One of the nurses knelt in it last night and left looking like Ernie Wise.
