Pads had another terrible start to the day - weeping in the morning. But then at about midday he went out for lunch and his spirits lifted. It was like darkness and light, we have him back.
This afternoon he went to orthoptic clinic and they were pleased with his progress: there's still a slight effect to the far right but that is a great improvement because he was getting it the whole way around his field of vision. It may take 18 months to 2 years to fully correct it but his condition now is more than acceptable. Funny to think that for a while he thought double-vision was what everyone saw... Hopefully he's heading to school tomorrow with a dose of vincristine in the middle.
