Pads has had two full days in school for the first time in ages, apart from for the blood test yesterday. The test revealed that he still needs to take potassium (the rest of the blood count showed up to be fine last week). After having finished learning the Beatitudes, the kids are now being challenged to learn two fairly long verses for Christmas in Isaiah 9. These are the prophetic words that begin with, 'For unto us a child is born...' They can 'double-their-money' by learning the (old) Welsh version as well. That was last night. Today the kids came out from school excited by lots of things: one of these was that Pads has been given a text to recite at the Christmas service, in front of the assembled school and congregation, with his best mate Harri. And the text...? Isaiah 9:7 in (old) Welsh :-)
