Pads had his bloods done today. The consultant said that he might not feel well for 4/6 weeks. The trick is to allow him the space to determine when he feels well and not try to push him.
After the hospital, they visited the new church building and Pads walked around tantalising everyone with a pastie from our local deli. He decided he'd better go to school and see his friends before he got more ill, so, there he stayed until home time. Later on we found out that his blood counts are respectable in every aspect so that was good news. Although he's not due more chemo for a while, he is having weekly blood tests - probably done from home with a finger prick: less invasive but fairly unpleasant nevertheless.
Anyway, a good day.
