Fairly normal

We've been enjoying a few days of relative normality and a long anticipated holiday. It felt wonderful to be driving away as a family, in good hopes of an uneventful journey: Ally'd dosed P up with nozinan just in case. The trip to Appledore flew by, sped along by an exciting audio-book and a very pleasant stop-off in Taunton to visit friends. Our destination was just another hour on from there.
Saturday was calm and relaxed. Breakfast from the deli, a trip to Bideford, a jigsaw, crabbing, pumpkin soup for dinner and a game of Risk to finish. All pretty normal stuff, only slightly dented by Pads' sore feet and low stamina... But that just helps keep things at a reasonable pace.
