so you want blended learning?
1. lecture presentation posted on VLE 8 weeks worth up there for all to see in advance
2. discussion forum: topic opened each week - students take turns to provide questions for the lecturer to discuss in the lecture. not enough questions? no lecture.
3. nominated students have to prepare notes on answers to questions as they were discussed in the lectures. This is a pass or fail activity and contributes 5% to their overall. Their 'notes' can be padded out.
