No chance of school today then - he's having regular bouts of pain and is too tired and weak. The specialist nurse is calling by soon to fit a needle into his port and 'type' his blood, as they're not happy with his HB count (anything below 10 is not healthy and he's just under that). So tomorrow he's spending the day being watched while 2 units work their way through his system - they have to make sure he doesn't react against it.
