Grace

Pads is rather tired today and fully aware of his chemo starting again on Friday. To distract him we have a family staying for a few days - the folk we normally travel up to visit at New Year. He was very tired in the evening service... the text was from Luke about 'the thief on the cross'. This individual is usually thought of as a classic last-minute conversion but the Pastor showed how he could not have been saved by his 'good' works as his track-record was evidently bad, he should be thought of as a classic example of being saved by grace - as indeed we all are, or need to be.
