Pads was awake at 6.20 so I had the honour of wishing him 'Happy Birthday'. He's on top form, looking forward to his mates coming over for a fairly humble party - pizza and DVD (plus horse-play no doubt!). He really enjoyed the Welsh carol service last night - Welsh carols have something very special about them. Not that I understand much, but the tunes are wonderful and the authors were clearly inspired (small 'i') to write with such gospel clarity.
Another bit of joy for Ash who is delighted to have passed the first Tai Kwon Do grading - well done Ash!
