A trip to London to remember

We like going to London for the tube, museums, historic places, etc. but this was something else. I'll have to write some more another time because there is so much to tell. Pads and Ally had a wonderful time - BIG thanks to LATCH and all involved. They were escorted the whole time by a group of Welsh guards (plus mascot Shenkin). They visited Numbers 10 and 11, hosted by Mrs Darling (Chancellor's wife), met Paul Murphy, the Secretary of State for Wales in the Welsh Office, had high tea with Michael Martin, at Mr Speaker's chambers - by which time P was stuffed full of the lavish party food served at each location. Pads also received a huge pile of presents much bigger than anything he's ever had before. An excellent professional photographer travelled with them and we'll get those pictures on Monday but here are a couple in the mean time.
Meanwhile, Neil is enjoying his new tortoise waiting to see if the new antibiotics do any good and Moli is fairly pole-axed by her virus that the rest of us are hoping we dont get.

Wow! I'll look forward to reading the extended version & looking at the pics! How much is Pads charging for autographs now he's famous? I spotted him & Ally on the Welsh news yesterday!

sorry not to have written the 'extended version' yet! I need to sit them both down and get it right so it's not exactly the best time of year to do that...
I'll have to ask his manager about the price for a signed photo. He's currently negotiating a deal with alpaca hat companies.
