Slowly improving

As we move slowly away from the big triple dose of chemo last weekend, Pads is starting to pick up. Today he arrived downstairs at about 8:45 and voluntarily went looking for some breakfast. He had appeared before this looking for his dressing gown so we collared him for his 3 tablets - Ondansetron, Potassium and Docusate. On Friday he was weighed and his bloods were checked as well as having the vincristine. He's dropped below the 30Kilo mark (29.8Kg) which we think is about the same (or less than) Bo. The Dr says she's not worried about his weight at the moment - more about his drinking because his urea levels are too high. So, yesterday, when he asked to watch a film it was on condition that he kept sipping water - which he did really well considering sometimes this week he could hardly look at putting anything in his mouth.
