We're grateful that the tube is still in place

Ally and Pads had a much better night and, with the NG tube still in place, he was not under such pressure to drink in order to get discharged. Once he's off the drip, hydration has to go in another way so the tube means we can sneak the water in, even if he's not up to having the feed. So they got home at 1pm while we were preparing to have our Sunday lunch. After a while, he started to chirp up and even ate a bit of garlic bread, of all things. He's been quite bright and fairly active. We're still on tender-hooks in terms of keeping the anti-sickness dosage to the maximum.
