temperature gone, infection going the right way

Very glad to report that Pads is doing a lot better on the IV antibiotics. He had to go into hospital on Thursday for that after we spotted a reddening patch to the left of his PEG tube entry site. Now it looks like he'll be out tomorrow. We were a bit gloomy about this flare-up, but the timing is fine, bearing in mind school last week and next week being the conference. Not only that but this is the first infection that's hit since he started treatment, so we've got off lightly.
