Next stop 22nd Jan

Let chemo commence! Pads is now ensconced 'in the zone' (watching telly in a hospital bed) ready for his final chemo cycle to start about now. Apart from a scan in December, the children's oncology ward (Sky Ward) dont need to see Pads until 22nd January. This will be for the follow-up appointment. Wondering what highs and lows this cycle will bring... One such thing on the up side is a trip to the Millenium Stadium to watch Wales take on Australia. He won the draw for 2 tickets the other week when he was in flu isolation and knew then what to give me for my birthday! The Joshua Foundation, who provided the tickets, do not do things by halves though: we travel to our box seats by stretch limo!
