Pads has overcome the virus that was giving him headaches the other week so the spectre of a tumour returning has faded. In conversation with Aunty Netta today about his promising prognosis he simply shrugged his shoulders about it. He is under no illusions even though the prognosis is indeed good.
Ash and Moli have been on 'over the wall' camp and return tomorrow (DV). But the rest of us greatly enjoyed a 2 night break using travelodges to visit a few National Trust properties. There are photos on flickr. Devizes was nice - was a dream fulfilled for Pads to go back there for toasted marshmallow milkshake! On the way out we had a lovely time at Caen locks, helping open and shut the gates.
