Pads goes forth, and back again

Pads had a good night. He had been having a good morning too. A nurse suggested he might like to have a break from his IV lines and PEG feed to have a wander around and even take a break from the ward - if only in a wheelchair. Pads was only interested in finding out if he could still walk. He padded about a bit and goofed with the Sister after she had the temerity to scruff-up his imaginary hair. Seems like getting vertical does not agree with his tummy though and Pads found that he could run at a modest lick back to bed and his pile of receptacles. Ironically he was about to have the metaclopamide medicine which helps him not feel sick by emptying his stomach!
