Uncertain times

Just to add that another consultant was warning us today that we may not hear back from Birmingham for weeks, if they can actually add anything at all to what we (dont) know. Now that we've got Pads into better shape, he'll probably  start the chemo tomorrow. A range of scenarios are being talked about, including that his brain is under threat from the potential of hydrocephalus (water on the brain) and that his brain may just 'call it a day' sometime soon. He does seem to be quieter, more tired, even perhaps deteriorating, but what to put this down to... is it spiritual, psychological or neurological...?
