Crutch is the answer

Our POONs (Paediatric Oncology Outreach Nurse) nurse came up with the best solution for Pads unsteadiness, delivering a pair of crutches on Tuesday. It took a while to get the length and technique quite right but now we're much happier to see him moving about. A single crutch with a lower-arm cuff gives more support than just a pole or stick held in the hand. Pads has painstakingly decorated it with little feet stickers.
