For a number of reasons, including the itchiness Pads experiences occasionally, it was decided to take his fentynal patch dose down by 12 so that, from last week, half-term week, he was only having the large (25) one stuck to his lower back, renewed every third day. There have been a few times this week where he was enduring neck pain, and eventually he opted for some paracetamol which thankfully alleviated the discomfort. We're obviously keeping an eye on how this progresses.
Half term having ended, he was back at school twice, greatly enjoying being there, even if participation at this level somewhat reinforces his uniqueness. The other students have to prepare for class tests, and suchlike.
