model patient

Monday mornings - not great for many of us. But try it with a dose of carboplatin, lomustine and vincristine aboard. So I just left him to lie again today. He played on the DS, picked off his remaining homework, played on the Wii. The play therapist enjoyed a visit in the afternoon - watched him finish the model Subaru a friend donated. He's not up for painting it sadly.
So it's slow starts but then picking up by the early evening for a few hours. That's when we try and get his feed in: on top of whatever he'll eat for 'dinner', a bottle through the evening, then one more slowly through the night, replaced by just water at 6am to try and flush things through a bit. He's on round the clock anti-sickness drugs.
