With the transfusion on Friday, which bound mum and him to hospital for 8 hours, Pads was able to make it to the family celebration yesterday (I'd gone with friends to a pre-arranged 40th birthday trip to Alton Towers).
But he's out of circulation again this morning - queasy and tired.
He also had full-strength vincristine on Friday, the first time in a long while. The last time it locked his bowels solid and gave everyone a fright. But we've learned to be more alert to that threat so we're expecting him to be fine.
