to school again

Pads looked pretty dreadful at 7:45am when he was almost ready to take the journey to school. He seemed often close to tears. By the time he got home, having spent the whole day in school, his eyes were sparkling, 'better not eat anything with this copper sulphate on my hands - we were making crystals', he enthused. He admitted to feeling slightly coerced into going today but the motivation has got to come from somewhere, and, given the doubtful weather forecast, the schools may have been shut for the next couple of days...
