Nothing growing this time

This morning the team decided that there was nothing serious growing in the blood cultures so P was free to go, after the noon dose of antibiotics. There was a (very) long farewell in progress by the time he finally arrived, with our Scottish friends returning home after staying with us for the conference. It is Asher's birthday and it was great for the brothers to have some time together in the afternoon playing on the new wii game. This evening we got pizza in and they watched a film together - it felt really quite normal.
