Hydration

So we're having a bit of a struggle keeping Pads hydrated. As great as it is that we're all home under one roof, the threat posed by ongoing sickness is a constant concern; and when the night is disturbed for one of us, it's disturbed for both.... we might need to think about doing shifts at home to avoid getting frazzled.
In spite of all the antisickness medicines, some of which didn't stay long last night anyway, he's still bringing back a fair portion of what we put through the gastrostomy tube. We've phoned the ward and they say to give the meds again now and call them back if he still doesn't settle. We're pretty much giving up on pushing the feed through, water is crucial and less unsettling for his tummy.
