Parents evening at Glantaf

Its was a big day with the home visit from the palliative care consultant and then going to Pads' parents evening. He finds it quite bemusing that so many people are so affectionate towards him. It was hard for Ally seeing so many parents attending with hopes or fears for their kids, many of whom are familiar going back many years. We are so impressed with the care and interest they all show, from the head of year, to the SENCO, to his teachers, one offering to give up a free lesson to give Pads one to one to help him keep up. Initially we wanted to sheild P from the bustle of breaks but now it seems he thrives amongst the others who love to have him around. We're going to talk with Pads and then make a plan with the school about the situation going forward.
